So I was lucky enough to spent the last three days attending the first Alt for Everyone conference, which brought all of the goodness of the in-person Alt conferences to my couch so I could learn from and connect with other bloggers.




While all of the seven session I attended were wonderful my favorites were the three part lesson by Laurie Smithwick of Upside Up and the styling lesson taught by Susan and William Brinson.

These lessons convinced me that there is a lot I can do to make TastyBelly both more engaging and more attractive, so look out for some changes coming.  However, I know less then I generally think I do, so if there is something you want to see drop me a comment.

  1. While I love throwing together last minute meals, I find planning and shopping for a week at a time ends up saving me a lot of $. I’d love your ideas for a week’s worth of meals — what would you make so you had a variety of flavors? Do you ever cook ahead on the weekends to save time during the week? How do you balance tastiness and health factors? What meals do you make to use up all the leftover bits of veg/meat/whatever , so things don’t go to waste?

    • Part of the answer is having lots of staples around the house both in the freezer and the pantry (and that includes making big batches of soup and sauces and freezing them for individual use). But let me see what else I can come up with for you!,
